Located next to Bridgemere Garden Centre is Bridgemere Nursery.  It grows over 1.3 million plants annually and supplies all Blue Diamond Garden Centres including Bridgemere.

The nursery started as 5 acres in 1987 and has grown to over 40 acres, equal to the size of 40 football pitches!

This includes 700,000 shrubs, 150,000 ericaceous plants, 180,000 soft fruit plants and 180,000 roses.

It is the home of the famous Fryer's Roses, which is also a part of the Blue Diamond Group of Garden centres. 

Established in 1962, 59 years ago, by John Ravenscroft, Bridgemere Nursery has grown from 6 acres to over 40 acres.  

Roses were the first crop and it was known as the Bridgemere Rose and Shrub Nursery. 

Today it has over 50 employees.
