We’re pleased to announce that Blue Diamond Garden Centres has acquired Leaf Creative

Founded in 2018 by award-winning garden designer Peter Dowle, Leaf Creative has built a strong reputation for specialist plant collections, design-led retail, community events, and its café, The Fernery. Known for unusual plant specimens, peat-free horticulture, and garden design services, it’s a favourite destination for local gardeners.

Managing Director Alan Roper said:

“I know Peter Dowle, the owner, and have built a positive relationship with him, so we worked with him and the administrators to find a satisfactory outcome for all parties. The business is very community-based, with many events, and is weighted toward specimen plants and gardening. We will bring in a more commercial edge, while retaining its boutique style.”

Leaf Creative now joins Blue Diamond’s portfolio, taking the total to 53 centres across England and Wales. We’re delighted to welcome the team and look forward to building on its strengths while continuing to serve the local community.
