Temporary Till Operators- Mere Park Garden Centre

Location: Mere Park Garden Centre
Contract: Temporary / Seasonal

We are looking for friendly and reliable Temporary Till Operators to join our team at Mere Park Garden Centre over the busy Christmas and New Year period.

You will provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately and help ensure the tills run smoothly during this busy time of year.

Available Positions

Saturday Position

• Saturdays from 31 October to 2 January

• 10am–5pm

• 6.5 hours per week

Sunday Position

• Sundays from 1 November to 3 January

• 10.30am–4.30pm

• 5.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Processing cash and card payments accurately

• Handling customer queries and assisting with any till-related issues

• Keeping the till area clean, tidy and well presented

• Following cash-handling and till procedures

• Supporting the wider team during busy periods

• Helping to deliver a positive customer experience throughout the Christmas period

• Being flexible to support with additional hours where required

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment

• Accurate and attentive when handling transactions

• A positive team player

• Flexible and willing to support the team when additional hours are available

Flexibility is important for these roles, as there may be opportunities to pick up additional hours alongside your contracted hours.
