Goods In Assistant / Delivery Driver- Worcester Garden Centre

Location: Worcester Garden Centre
Hours: 20 hours per week

We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods In Assistant / Delivery Driver to join the team at Worcester Garden Centre.

This is a varied role, with 12 hours per week spent carrying out deliveries and 8 hours supporting the Goods In team. You will play an important part in ensuring deliveries reach our customers safely and on time, while also helping to keep our Goods In operation running efficiently.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out local customer deliveries safely and professionally

• Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle

• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and providing excellent customer service

• Checking incoming deliveries and ensuring goods are received accurately

• Moving and storing stock safely within the Goods In area

• Assisting with stock checks and maintaining an organised Goods In area

• Following all relevant health and safety procedures

• Supporting the wider garden centre team when required

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• A confident and responsible driver with a full UK driving licence

• Reliable, punctual and well organised

• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a physical environment

• Customer-focused and friendly when carrying out deliveries

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Flexible and willing to get involved across both deliveries and Goods In

• Previous experience in a delivery, warehouse, stock or Goods In environment would be beneficial, but is not essential
