Payroll Administrator

Blue Diamond is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll.

We’re looking for someone with around 5 years’ payroll experience who has a strong understanding of the full payroll process and is confident managing payroll from start to finish.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring payroll is completed accurately and on time, while working closely with colleagues across the business.

Location: Based at any Blue Diamond Garden Centre
Hours: 35–40 hours per wee

The Role

• Manage the full end-to-end payroll process
• Complete payroll accurately and within required deadlines
• Process starters, leavers, changes and other payroll adjustments
• Ensure payroll records are accurate and up to date
• Deal with payroll queries and resolve issues promptly
• Complete payroll checks and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records
• Work with internal teams to ensure payroll information is correct and received on time
• Ensure payroll processes and procedures are followed
• Support with any other payroll-related requirements as needed

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has around 5 years’ experience working in payroll
• Has full knowledge of end-to-end payroll
• Is confident completing payroll independently
• Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Is organised and able to work to deadlines
• Has good communication skills and is comfortable dealing with payroll queries
• Has experience using ResourceLink – desirable
• Has experience with Channel Islands payroll – desirable
• Is confident working independently as well as part of a wider team

The role be site-based at one of our garden centres, with the flexibility for the successful candidate to be based at any Blue Diamond centre.
