Indoor Plant Supervisor- Brambridge Garden Centre

Location: Brambridge Garden Centre
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week

Brambridge Garden Centre is looking for an Indoor Plant Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day running and presentation of our indoor plant area.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has a genuine interest in plants and enjoys working in a busy retail environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards across the department, ensuring our indoor plants are well cared for, beautifully presented and available for customers to enjoy.

You’ll also play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, sharing your knowledge with customers and supporting the wider garden centre team.

The Role

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the indoor plant department
• Ensure indoor plants are well maintained, healthy and presented to a high standard
• Monitor stock levels and work with the wider team to ensure the department is well stocked
• Maintain attractive and inspiring plant displays
• Provide knowledgeable and friendly advice to customers
• Support with ordering, deliveries and stock management
• Ensure plants are correctly priced, labelled and merchandised
• Monitor plant quality and identify any issues quickly
• Lead and support colleagues within the department
• Help drive sales and maximise opportunities within the indoor plant area
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation
• Work closely with other departments and the wider management team

About You

• A strong knowledge and genuine passion for indoor plants
• Previous experience in a garden centre, nursery, plant retail or similar environment
• Confident providing advice and recommendations to customers
• Good understanding of plant care and maintenance
• Commercially aware with an eye for presentation and detail
• Organised and able to manage priorities in a busy environment
• A natural team player who can support and lead colleagues
• Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
• Reliable, proactive and happy to get involved
