Temporary Kitchen Porter- Melbicks Garden Centre

Location: The Parlour, Melbicks Garden Centre
Hours: 8 hours per week
Contract: Temporary – October to January
Working pattern: Weekday and weekend working

The Parlour at Melbicks Garden Centre is looking for a Temporary Kitchen Porter to join the team from October through to January.

Working as part of the kitchen team, you’ll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You’ll help with washing up, keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy, supporting the chefs and making sure everything is ready for busy service.

This is a hands-on role in a busy kitchen, so you’ll need to be reliable, hardworking and happy to get stuck in.

About You

• Reliable and hardworking
• Happy working in a busy kitchen environment
• Organised and able to work at pace
• A good team player with a positive attitude
• Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on tasks
• Previous kitchen or catering experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
