Catering Assistant- Bridgemere Garden Centre

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time daytime hours, with shifts of around 5 hours per day. The role would suit someone looking for a work pattern that fits well around other commitments.

You'll be part of a friendly team helping to deliver great food and service to our customers, ensuring the restaurant is welcoming, clean and running smoothly throughout the day.

Location: Bridgemere Garden Centre
Hours: Part-time, around 5 hours per day

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and welcoming service to customers
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks
• Helping with food preparation when required
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Keeping the restaurant and service areas clean, tidy and well presented
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties
• Replenishing stock and supplies
• Following food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
• Supporting the wider restaurant team during busy periods

You'll ideally have:

• A positive, can-do attitude
• Good customer service skills
• A friendly and approachable manner
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Good standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
