General Assistant Fashion, Home & Food- Blackdown Garden Centre

Location: Blackdown Garden Centre
Hours: Part-time, 12–20 hours per week
Contract: Temporary and Permanent positions available

About the Role

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic General Assistants to join the team at Blackdown Garden Centre.

We have a variety of part-time opportunities available across our Fashion, Home and Food departments, with both temporary and permanent positions available.

You’ll be part of a busy team, helping customers, keeping your department well presented and making sure everything runs smoothly day to day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing friendly and helpful customer service
• Helping customers find products and answering their questions
• Keeping displays and departments clean, tidy and well stocked
• Replenishing stock and maintaining high presentation standards
• Supporting your colleagues across the department when needed
• Helping to create a welcoming experience for our customers

About You

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and enjoys working with people. Previous retail experience would be useful, but it’s not essential as full training will be provided.

You’ll need a positive attitude, a willingness to get stuck in and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Weekend availability will be required.
