Temporary Christmas Food & Home General Assistant- Percy Throwers Garden Centre

Percy Thrower’s Garden Centre | 2 x 15 hours per week | Fixed Term until end of December

We’re looking for two friendly and enthusiastic General Assistants to join our Food & Home team at Percy Thrower’s Garden Centre over the busy Christmas period.

This is a great opportunity to join Blue Diamond, one of the UK’s leading garden centre groups, and be part of a friendly team delivering a great experience for our customers throughout the festive season.

About the Role

Working across our Food & Home departments, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly and make sure our customers receive a warm and helpful service.

Your role will include:

• Providing friendly and helpful customer service
• Replenishing stock and keeping shelves and displays looking great
• Helping to keep the department clean, tidy and well presented
• Supporting with deliveries and stock movements
• Helping customers find products and answering their questions
• Working as part of the wider team during busy periods
• Supporting the team throughout the Christmas season

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with customers
• Reliable, enthusiastic and happy to get stuck in
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
• A good team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible and available to work weekends and throughout the Christmas period

Previous retail experience would be useful, but full training will be provided.
