Location: Cadbury Garden Centre Restaurant

Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract

Hours: 30 hours per week, including weekend work

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Chef to join the team at our Cadbury Garden Centre Restaurant on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

The Role

As a Chef, you’ll help prepare and deliver a varied menu to a consistently high standard, working closely with the wider kitchen and restaurant teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
• Following recipes and presentation standards
• Ensuring food is prepared safely and hygienically
• Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen during busy periods
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Working effectively as part of the kitchen team
• Helping to minimise waste and maintain good stock control
• Following all food safety and health & safety procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and enjoys working as part of a busy kitchen team.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen
• A passion for food and delivering high standards
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
