Location: Coton Orchard Garden Centre
Hours: Weekend work only
Contract: Temporary – 28th November to 13th December 2026 inclusive

We're looking for Temporary Christmas Tree General Assistants to join the team at Coton Orchard Garden Centre during the busy Christmas period.

You'll help customers choose their Christmas trees, assist with moving and handling trees, and keep the department tidy and well organised. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for temporary weekend work over the festive season.

The Role

Working within our Christmas tree area, you'll support the team with the day-to-day running of the department, helping customers and ensuring trees are presented safely and ready for sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with choosing their Christmas trees.

• Help move, handle and position Christmas trees safely.

• Support the loading of trees into customers' vehicles where required.

• Keep the Christmas tree area tidy, organised and presentable.

• Assist with deliveries and the movement of stock.

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service.

• Work as part of the wider team to ensure the department runs smoothly during peak trading.

About You

We're looking for reliable, hardworking people who are happy working outdoors and getting stuck in.

You'll ideally have:

• A positive, helpful attitude and good customer service skills.

• The ability to work well as part of a team.

• Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving Christmas trees.

• Flexibility to work weekends during the contract period.

Previous retail or garden centre experience is helpful but not essential. Full guidance will be provided.
