Cleaner – Holt Garden Centre

Location: Holt Garden Centre
Hours: We have two part-time opportunities available:

• 12 hours per week over 4 days
• 9 hours per week over 3 days

The Opportunity

We're looking for two reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our friendly team at Holt Garden Centre.

As an important member of the team, you'll help ensure our garden centre is clean, safe and welcoming for both customers and colleagues. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and pride in your work will make a real difference to the customer experience.

The Role

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the garden centre, ensuring all customer-facing and staff areas are presented to an excellent standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including shop floors, entrances, toilets and staff facilities.
• Dust, wipe and sanitise surfaces throughout the centre.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
• Replenish cleaning supplies where required.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults.
• Support with additional cleaning duties to ensure the garden centre always looks its best.
• Follow all health and safety procedures when carrying out cleaning tasks.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
• Able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
• Friendly, approachable and happy to be part of a team.
• Comfortable carrying out light physical duties.
• Flexible and willing to work the agreed shift pattern.

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
