Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: 18 hours, Part Time, Weekend Role

Are you hardworking, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a busy team? We're looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our restaurant team at Yarnton Garden Centre, helping to keep our kitchen running smoothly during our busiest weekend trading.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role in a friendly, fast-paced environment. Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play an important part in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and operating efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, tidy, and organised.
• Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a positive, can-do attitude.
• Is reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Can work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Is happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.
• Previous kitchen porter or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
