Plant Area Supervisor- Weybridge Garden Centre

Weybridge Garden Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Plant Area Supervisor to support the Plant Area Manager in delivering an outstanding customer experience and maintaining high standards in our plant department.

This is a hands-on role for a motivated individual with strong horticultural knowledge, who wants to develop their leadership skills within a premium garden retail environment.

About the Role:

As Plant Area Supervisor, you will support the Plant Area Manager in running the department, ensuring plants are well-stocked, presented, and sold efficiently. You will help lead a small team, assist with daily operations, and contribute to a thriving, profitable Plant Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the Plant Area, including stock management and presentation.
• Support plant ordering, allocations, and stock rotation to minimise waste and maximise sales.
• Help maintain excellent plant quality, availability, and visual standards.
• Coach, motivate, and support colleagues to deliver high standards of customer service.
• Work with sales data and insight to support departmental performance improvements.
• Deputise for the Plant Area Manager as required, including supporting wider site operations.

About You:

• Retail or horticultural supervisory experience, ideally in a garden centre or plant environment.
• Strong plant knowledge and a genuine passion for horticulture.
• Confident using data and systems; Excel experience is an advantage.
• A proactive, visible team player who leads by example.
• Committed to excellent customer service and departmental standards.
