We are looking for an enthusiastic Weekend Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking fresh food, takes pride in their work, and wants to develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Location: Bridgemere Garden Centre Restaurant
Hours: Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday), daytime hours only
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role

• Assist with the preparation and service of fresh breakfasts, lunches, soups, and daily specials
• Support the Chef de Partie and Head Chef during busy service periods
• Prepare ingredients and maintain high standards of food presentation
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently
• Learn and develop your culinary skills within a supportive team environment

About You

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
• Passionate about food and eager to learn
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well under pressure
• Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
• Able to work weekends on a regular basis
