Fashion Regional Manager | Northwest- Field Based
We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager from a fashion retail background to lead our Fashion departments across the Northwest region.

This is a newly created role, reflecting the continued growth of Blue Diamond Garden Centres and the expansion of our team of Regional Fashion Managers.
Reporting to the Head Fashion Area Manager, and the Head of Fashion, you will take ownership of driving growth across your region, ensuring exceptional retail standards and delivering strong commercial performance. You will lead with a focus on operational excellence, creating efficient, profitable, and customer-focused businesses while supporting and developing your teams to achieve their full potential.
You'll spend four days a week travelling across your region and one day carrying out administration from your base store, which will be the store closest to your home.

The Role
As Fashion Regional Manager, you will work closely with your teams. This is not about managing from a distance; it's about being present, building relationships and supporting your teams to deliver results.
You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with managers, helping them develop their skills, improve performance and identify profit opportunities within their stores. We are looking for someone who leads through influence, coaching and empowerment.
This is an exciting time to join Blue Diamond Garden Centres. As we continue to expand at a fast-paced rate you will be responsible for leading the Fashion refurbishments in new acquisitions within your region; from planning the space and layout to ensuring the department is delivered to a high standard with a new team recruited and trained to operate in accordance with our high standards and expectations. You'll play a key role in ensuring each location gets off to the best possible start.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitability and operational performance across your region.
- Analyse KPIs and performance data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Coach, mentor and develop retail managers and their teams.
- Recruit, train and develop future talent through effective succession planning.
- Fully support and train new managers, helping them build the confidence and capability to succeed.
- Ensure stores deliver excellent customer service and maintain high retail standards.
- Drive strong visual merchandising standards.
- Review labour structures and FTE levels to ensure stores are operating efficiently and profitably.
- Lead the setup of new stores, departments and centres within your region.
- Identify commercial opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and customer experience.
- Manage store costs and budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes, with support from HR.
- Build strong working relationships across the wider Fashion Team.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Regional or Area Management experience within fashion retail.
- A genuine enthusiasm for retail and nurturing talent.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills.
- Experience managing multiple stores and improving commercial performance.
- Good understanding of KPIs, labour planning and profit optimisation.
- Strong visual merchandising knowledge and appreciation of fashion retail standards.
- Experience in opening stores, departments or leading significant operational projects.
- Ability to influence, motivate and develop teams at all levels.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved when needed.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
