Location: Nailsworth Garden Centre
Hours: Saturdays & Sundays

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Outdoor Leisure & Christmas Department.

The Role

This is a hands-on and varied role within our Outdoor Leisure & Christmas Department. You will play a key part in ensuring the department is well-stocked, beautifully presented and that every customer receives friendly, knowledgeable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating visual and inspirational displays to help drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and shop floor presentation.
• Assisting with the movement, assembly and merchandising of furniture and outdoor living products.
• Supporting carry-to-car service and assisting with customer deliveries when required.
• Providing excellent customer service and product advice.
• Processing sales accurately using the EPOS system and handling after-sales enquiries.
• Replenishing stock and ensuring products are correctly merchandised.
• Printing and displaying POS materials throughout the department.
• Following action points from reports and departmental floor walks.
• Supporting the Department Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Has a proactive and positive attitude.
• Takes pride in maintaining high retail standards.
• Is comfortable undertaking physical tasks, including lifting and moving furniture.
• Has good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential.
