Blue Diamond Garden Centres Announces Acquisition of Highfield Garden World

Blue Diamond Garden Centres has announced the acquisition of Highfield Garden World in Gloucestershire, marking the Group's 55th garden centre in the UK and Channel Islands and further strengthening its position as the UK's leading garden centre retailer.

Founded in 1920, Highfield Garden World has grown from a traditional nursery into one of the South West's most established destination garden centres. Over more than a century, the business has earned a loyal following through its commitment to horticultural expertise, quality plants and exceptional customer service.

Today, Highfield is renowned for its extensive garden centre and award-winning planteria, alongside its popular home and gift departments, food hall, seasonal displays and restaurant. Its blend of gardening inspiration, lifestyle retail and family-friendly shopping has made it a much-loved destination, attracting visitors from across Gloucestershire and beyond.

The acquisition represents another significant step in Blue Diamond's continued investment in exceptional garden centres with strong local identities. Highfield's reputation, heritage and loyal customer base make it a natural fit within the Group's portfolio, and Blue Diamond plans to build on these strengths while investing in the site's future development.

Alan Roper, CEO of Blue Diamond Garden Centres, said: "Highfield Garden World has built an outstanding reputation over generations and is a fantastic addition to the Blue Diamond family. We look forward to investing in the business, supporting its excellent team and building on the strong foundations that have made Highfield one of the South West's leading garden centres."

The acquisition brings Blue Diamond's portfolio to 55 garden centres across the UK and Channel Islands, continuing the Group's strategy of investing in destination garden centres that combine horticultural excellence with market-leading retail and hospitality experiences.
