Location: 3 Shires Garden Centre (with flexibility to support at Leaf Creative when required)

If so, we'd love to welcome you as a Temporary Fashion General Assistant at 3 Shires Garden Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to join us during one of our busiest trading periods, helping customers discover the latest fashion while maintaining the high retail standards we're known for.

From time to time, you may also be asked to support our team at Leaf Creative, giving you the opportunity to work across both locations and gain experience in two unique retail environments.

The Role

As a Fashion General Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating an attractive, well-stocked and welcoming department while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and professional customer service.
• Help customers find products and assist with purchases.
• Replenish stock and assist with deliveries.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation.
• Create eye-catching seasonal and promotional displays.
• Ensure products are correctly priced and displayed.
• Keep the department clean, tidy and inviting.
• Support promotional events and busy trading periods.
• Work across the wider store when required, including providing support at Leaf Creative.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an excellent customer experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about fashion, retail and customer service.
• Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic.
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
• Organised with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
• Reliable, flexible and happy to support the team wherever needed.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
