Driver- Percy Throwers Garden Centre

Are you reliable, organised and enjoy being out on the road? Percy Thrower's Garden Centre is looking for a friendly and dependable Driver to join our team.

This is a part-time position working Mondays and Tuesdays, with additional hours available during peak trading periods and to provide holiday cover for our second driver. Flexibility is essential.

Location: Percy Thrower's Garden Centre
Hours: 12 hours per week (Monday & Tuesday – 6 hours per day)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role

As our Driver, you'll play an important role in delivering purchases safely and professionally to our customers while providing excellent customer service.

You'll ensure deliveries are completed efficiently, goods are handled with care, and vehicles are kept clean and roadworthy. You'll also assist with loading and unloading deliveries and work closely with the retail team to ensure a smooth customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• A full UK driving licence with a good driving record
• Previous delivery driving experience is desirable but not essential
• Friendly, professional and customer-focused
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Able to lift and move heavy items safely
• Flexible to work additional hours during peak periods and to cover holidays
• A positive team player with a can-do attitude
