Part of the award-winning Blue Diamond Group, Coton Orchard Garden Centre is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Temporary Goods In Assistant to support our team during one of our busiest seasonal periods, helping us prepare for exciting new fashion collections and Christmas stock arrivals.

About the Role
As a Goods In Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the garden centre by ensuring deliveries are received, processed, and distributed efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, checking, and processing incoming deliveries
- Assisting with the safe unloading and movement of stock throughout the centre
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of fashion and Christmas merchandise
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised stockrooms and delivery areas
- Assisting with stock replenishment and seasonal merchandising requirements
- Reporting delivery discrepancies or damaged goods promptly
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure stock is available and presented to the highest standards
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, reliable, and hardworking
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Physically capable of handling stock deliveries safely
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A positive team player who takes pride in their work
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business when required
Previous experience in a warehouse, stock handling, or retail environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Contract Details
- 20 hours per week
- Fixed-term contract from 10 August 2026 to 31 October 2026
- Supporting the arrival and preparation of seasonal fashion and Christmas stock
- Flexibility may be required to support peak delivery periods
