Fashion General Assistant (Temporary)- Cardiff Garden Centre

Location: Cardiff Garden Centre
Hours: 8 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods, holidays, and seasonal events
Contract: Temporary contract until 31 December 2026

The Role

As a Fashion Retail Assistant, you'll help deliver an excellent shopping experience for our customers while maintaining high standards throughout the department.

You'll support with merchandising, stock replenishment, and keeping the department looking its best, while working alongside a friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with their purchases.
• Maintain high standards of presentation throughout the department.
• Replenish stock and assist with deliveries.
• Support visual merchandising and seasonal displays.
• Ensure products are well presented and correctly priced.
• Keep the department clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Support promotional activities and seasonal events.
• Work as part of the wider store team when required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for fashion and retail.
• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to support the team during busy periods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
