Kitchen Prep Assistant- Endsleigh Garden Centre

Location: Endsleigh Garden Centre Restaurant, part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: 6 hours Saturday and 6 hours Sunday

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Endsleigh Garden Centre Restaurant.

We are looking for a Kitchen Prep Assistant to join our friendly restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food preparation and cleanliness.

The Role
As a Kitchen Prep Assistant, you will support the kitchen team with food preparation and help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation, including preparing ingredients and simple dishes
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during service
• Washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean and organised
• Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Restocking kitchen supplies and assisting with deliveries where required
• Helping maintain a clean and efficient working environment

About You
Previous kitchen or catering experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
