Do you love working with plants and being outdoors? Are you passionate about horticulture and enjoy helping customers choose the right plants for their gardens?

We’re looking for Plant General Assistants to join the team at Yarnton Garden Centre. This is a hands-on role for people who genuinely care about plants and take pride in keeping them healthy, well-presented, and looking their best.

The Role

You’ll be working in our busy plants department, helping customers and caring for stock day to day. No two days are the same.

• Advising customers on plants and plant care
• Watering, pruning, and maintaining plant quality
• Creating and maintaining attractive displays
• Receiving deliveries and replenishing stock
• Helping customers load plants into their vehicles
• Supporting the wider team when needed

About You

• A real interest in plants, gardening, or horticulture
• Friendly, reliable, and enjoys working with people
• Happy working indoors and outdoors, whatever the weather
• A team player with a positive attitude

Plant knowledge is a bonus — but enthusiasm and willingness to learn matter most.
