Delivery Driver / Handyman- Nailsworth Garden Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nailsworth Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group.

We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and creating a unique and enjoyable retail experience. We are now looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Handyman.

Hours:18 hours per week – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

The Role

As a Delivery Driver / Handyman, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, while also supporting yard and stock operations. You will be an important representative of the business, often the final point of contact with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and plan daily delivery routes efficiently
• Liaise with department heads, customer services, and customers
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver goods to customers in a polite, professional, and timely manner
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance
• Keep storage and yard areas clean, tidy, and well maintained
• Assist with topping up compost and general stock handling
• Support general yard and operational duties as required

• Professional, friendly, and immaculately presented
• Strong focus on excellent customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role
• Full UK driving licence required (essential)
• Previous delivery or yard experience is desirable but not essential
