Position: Catering Assistant
Location: Holt Garden Centre – Garden Terrace Café (part of the Blue Diamond Group)
Hours: 35 hours, with a range of shifts and working patterns available (including weekdays and weekends)
Salary: Depending on experience

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards across our café and kitchen areas. Working in a busy and friendly environment, you will help create a welcoming experience for all customers.

Duties Will Include (but not limited to):

• Hosting and welcoming customers to their tables
• Taking orders and processing payments accurately
• Preparing hot and cold drinks, including barista-style beverages
• Serving food and drinks to tables efficiently
• Supporting the team during busy service periods
• General cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene across the restaurant

• Passion for customer service and exceeding customer expectations
• Pride in delivering a job well executed
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Attentive, pleasant, and friendly with both our customers and other team members
• Previous catering experience preferred; however, full training will be provided
• Flexible and available to work both weekdays and weekends
