Temporary Tills Assistant- Weybridge Garden Centre

Location: Weybridge Garden Centre
Contract: Temporary – Spring Season
Hours: Various hours available (part-time & full-time) weekend availability

We are looking for Temporary Till Assistants to join our team at Weybridge Garden Centre during our busy spring season. With a mix of hours available, this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering excellent customer service.

The Role

This is a busy and customer-facing role at the heart of our store. As a Till Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a smooth and friendly checkout experience while supporting the wider team during our peak trading period.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating tills and handling transactions accurately
• Providing a warm, friendly, and efficient service to every customer
• Assisting with queries, returns, and general customer enquiries
• Supporting queue management during busy periods
• Helping to keep the till area clean, organised, and well-presented
• Working closely with the shop floor team to ensure a seamless customer experience

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Enjoy working with people and delivering excellent customer service
• Are confident, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy when handling payments
• Are proactive and enjoy working as part of a team
• Are flexible and able to work weekends when required

Previous retail or till experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
