The Role

As a Home Department General Assistant, you will play a key role in presenting our homeware, décor, and lifestyle ranges to the highest standard. You’ll help create eye-catching displays that inspire customers and bring our products to life.

This is a hands-on, varied role where your creativity, enthusiasm, and initiative will be appreciated every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers
• Assist with visual merchandising and creating attractive, inspiring displays
• Support stock management, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and presented
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to business needs
• Assist with promotions, seasonal changes, and POS material

The Ideal Candidate

• Enthusiastic and customer-focused, with a passion for homeware and interiors
• Confident, proactive, and able to use your own initiative
• Flexible, positive, and reliable, with weekend availability
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high presentation standards
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided
