Pot Washer- Redfields Garden Centre

This is a key role in the kitchen, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will play an essential part in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency, supporting the chefs and wider team during busy service periods.

The Role

As Pot Washer, you will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and fully equipped throughout service. You will ensure all crockery, pots, pans, and utensils are cleaned efficiently and to a high standard, supporting the chefs so they can focus on food preparation and service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, trays, crockery, and kitchen equipment
• Ensuring wash-up areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
• Supporting kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal correctly
• Assisting with basic cleaning tasks across the kitchen
• Helping with deliveries and storing stock when required
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

Person Specification

Essential

Desirable

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment
• Understanding of basic food hygiene standards (training can be provided)
