Goods In Assistant- Cadbury Garden Centre

Location: Cadbury Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: Part-time, 32 hours per week (including weekends)
Salary: Depending on experience

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated Goods In Assistant to help manage our busy stock area. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our shop floor is always fully stocked with the best-quality plants, garden products, and outdoor furniture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading and processing deliveries efficiently and safely

• Inspect incoming stock to ensure quality standards are met

• Accurately record stock using EPOS/Stock Control systems and manage delivery paperwork

• Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised warehouse and yard

• Support the Goods In Department Manager with stock management and supplier liaison

• Handle returns or discrepancies as required

About You

• Previous experience in warehouse or retail stock handling is desirable

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Positive, hands-on attitude and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Comfortable using stock management software and handheld scanners

• Team player with good organisational skills and attention to detail
