Do you enjoy leading by example, creating inspiring displays, and delivering outstanding customer service? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Home Department Supervisor to support our team at Newbridge Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group.

Position: Home Department Supervisor
Location: Newbridge Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: Full-time, 41.5 hours, including alternate weekends
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role

As a Home Department Supervisor, you will support the Department Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You will:

  • Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Support and motivate the team to achieve sales targets
  • Help create visually inspiring displays that showcase our homeware ranges
  • Assist with stock control, merchandising, and replenishment
  • Step up to oversee the department in the manager’s absence
  • Support with training and development of team members

About You

We are looking for someone with retail experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will have:

  • Previous experience in a retail or supervisory role
  • A passion for home, lifestyle, or visual merchandising
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, hands-on approach with a willingness to lead by example
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
