The Role

As a General Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the team, supporting a variety of areas including:

• Plants and gardening products
• Leisure and lifestyle ranges
• Assisting at tills and with customer queries
• Stock management, replenishment, and display setup
• Seasonal changes, promotions, and merchandising
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

This is a flexible, hands-on role where enthusiasm, initiative, and a love of retail will help you thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to work across different areas of the business
• Reliable, with weekend availability
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential — full training is provided
