Gardening General Assistant- Leaf Creative

We are excited to be recruiting for a Full-Time Gardening General Assistant to join our team at Leaf Creative, a fresh and inspiring new destination for garden and lifestyle retail.

Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekend working

The Role

This is a practical, active role within our gardening department. You’ll help create an inviting, well-stocked, and visually inspiring environment, while delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, approachable, and helpful customer service
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the gardening department
• Replenish stock and support with merchandising displays
• Assist with deliveries, including moving and handling heavy items
• Keep outdoor areas clean, organised, and safe
• Support customers with carrying and loading purchases
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a seamless customer experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, reliability, and a genuine enthusiasm for the outdoors.

• A passion or interest in gardening (experience is a bonus, not essential)
• Enjoys physical, hands-on work in an outdoor environment
• Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail
• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused
• A team player who can also work independently when needed

Full training will be provided to help you grow in the role.
