Position: Front of House Assistant
Location: Fryers Garden Centre Restaurant, part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: 10 hours - flexible to work weekdays or weekends where needed

The Role
We are looking for a friendly, confident, and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join our restaurant team. You’ll be the face of our restaurant, helping to create a welcoming environment and ensuring every customer has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Welcoming customers and providing friendly, attentive service

Taking orders and operating the till, handling cash and card payments

Preparing and serving hot drinks and beverages (barista experience is a plus)

Clearing and resetting tables to maintain a clean and inviting environment

Assisting customers with queries and ensuring their needs are met

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across front-of-house areas

Supporting the wider restaurant team during busy periods
About You
Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Barista experience would be advantageous, but training will be offered for all team members.

High standard of personal presentation and hygiene

Flexibility to work weekends on a rota basis
