Front of House Assistant/ Barista- Yarnton Garden Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Yarnton Garden Centre Restaurant.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic team members to support our busy restaurant during weekends. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

As our restaurant continues to grow, we are looking for individuals who can help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Position: Front of House Assistant/ Barista
Location: Yarnton Garden Centre Restaurant
Hours: Weekend role, Saturday and Sunday 11:00am – 5:00pm (with potential for up to 3 days per week for the right candidate)

About the role:

We are recruiting for weekend Front of House team members, with the opportunity for candidates with barista experience to support our coffee service. For the right candidate, additional weekday hours (up to three days per week) may be available.

Key responsibilities

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Taking food and drink orders and serving customers
• Preparing and serving hot drinks (barista experience desirable)
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment
• Supporting the team during busy service periods
• Ensuring excellent presentation and service standards at all times

About you:

• Friendly, approachable, and professional
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Barista experience is desirable but not essential
• Reliable and able to work weekends
