Nailsworth Garden Centre is looking for a reliable and passionate Chef / Cook / CDP to join our busy café kitchen on a part-time basis (16 hours per week), with the opportunity for additional overtime during busy periods.

This is a great role for a chef who enjoys cooking fresh, quality food in a fast-paced daytime kitchen while working as part of a supportive and professional team.

Working Pattern

• 16 hours per week
• Shifts worked on a rota basis
• Daytime hours only – no evening service
• Opportunity for extra hours and overtime when required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh dishes to a high standard
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Assist with food preparation and daily mise en place
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and efficient
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Chef, Cook, or Chef de Partie
• Passion for fresh, well-prepared food
• Ability to stay organised and calm during busy periods
• Strong teamwork and reliability
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
