The Role

As a Garden Leisure and Christmas General Assistant, you will support the team in presenting products to the highest standard, creating displays that attract and inspire customers. You will help maintain a welcoming environment and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

This is a hands-on, varied role where your creativity and initiative will be valued every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers
• Assist with visual merchandising, creating eye-catching displays
• Support stock management, ensuring products are replenished and presented effectively
• Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for customers and staff
• Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to business needs
• Assist with seasonal events, promotions, and POS material

The Ideal Candidate

• Enthusiastic and customer-focused, with a passion for seasonal products and garden leisure
• Confident and able to work on your own initiative
• Flexible, positive, and reliable
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Experience in retail or garden centre roles is desirable but not essential — full training is provided

Vacancy Details

Vacancy 1 (14 hours per week):
• Wednesday 10:00 – 16:30
• Thursday 09:00 – 17:30

Vacancy 2 (14 hours per week):
• Friday 09:00 – 17:30
• Saturday 10:00 – 16:30

Weekend availability is required for Vacancy 2.
