We now have an opening for a Sandwich Maker at our Barton Grange Riverside Kitchen.

Position: Sandwich Maker

Location: Barton Grange Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group.

Hours: Part-time hours available (2/3 days and alternate weekends, 8.30 am-4.00 pm)

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Sandwich Maker to join our Riverside Kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and salads, helping to deliver a fantastic dining experience to our customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for food and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads and other delicious menu items to order, following company standards and recipes.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.
• Help with general food preparation duties, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and sanitary food preparation area at all times.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Manage stock levels for sandwich ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and storage to minimise waste.
• Provide a high standard of customer service, occasionally taking orders and serving customers directly.
