Little Acorns Bird Feeder at Woburn Sands

Come along to our fun, Little Acorns Bird Feeder making workshop - the perfect introduction to nature-friendly gardening for pre-school children.
During our workshops, we encourage children to explore the natural world through planting seeds, growing plants and nature-themed crafts. There are so many benefits to introducing your Little Acorn to gardening at an early age such as thinking about their environment and developing social skills as they have fun together.
It’s also the ideal way for children and guardians alike to make new friends!
During this activity we will be making a Bird Feeder to place in your garden or outside space and to help young children learn how important it is to support wild birds as we move into the Winter months.
Please bring in an empty, clean and dry large water/squash bottle. All other materials are provided and you will also be given some nature-friendly worksheets to take home with you.
It’s always extra fun if the children choose to dress in something associated with the theme too as long as it’s comfortable and practical. (This is not compulsory).
After the activity the children will wind down with a juice, biscuit, story and song.
You will also receive an attendance card and each child will receive a special certificate after attending their 5th workshop.
All children must be accompanied by one adult guardian (included in ticket price - £8.99).
Any additional adult tickets are £1.99 each.
