Location: Peterborough Garden Centre
Hours: 24 hours per week (with potential for overtime), including weekend working on a rota basis

The Role

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant, helping to maintain excellent service standards while creating a positive environment for both customers and staff.

You will play a key role in supervising the team, supporting colleagues with day-to-day issues, and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations
• Supervising staff and confidently handling day-to-day staff matters
• Leading by example to deliver excellent customer service
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety
• Supporting and motivating the team during busy service periods
• Working independently when required in a fast-paced environment
• Promoting teamwork, flexibility, and a positive working culture

About You

Previous supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, confidence in taking responsibility, and a genuine passion for customer service and people management.

• Confidence in supporting staff and resolving day-to-day issues
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Good awareness of health & safety and food hygiene standards
• Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
