Temporary General Assistant – Nailsworth Garden Centre

We are looking for a Temporary General Assistant to join our team at Nailsworth Garden Centre from March to June. This role is Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

As part of our team, you will play an important role in helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect while providing a friendly and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will be immaculately presented, professional, and approachable, with a genuine interest in gardening and a keen eye for detail. You will be passionate about customer service, polite, outgoing, and always willing to put our customers first.

As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with carry-to-car service, ensuring purchases are handled safely and efficiently

• Supporting car parking control and helping maintain smooth traffic flow around the centre

• General shop floor maintenance and housekeeping to ensure the centre is tidy and welcoming

• Serving customers in a friendly, professional manner, answering questions, and providing advice when needed
