Position: Goods In General Assistant
Location: Nailsworth Garden Centre – part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: 16 hours per week – Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods In General Assistant to join our team at Nailsworth Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth running of our Goods In operation.

The Role

This is a key support role within the Goods In department, ensuring deliveries are received accurately and efficiently, and stock is distributed correctly across the centre.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving deliveries and checking stock against delivery paperwork

• Organising and distributing stock to the appropriate departments

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised Goods In area

• Supporting departments with stock requests and stock movement

• Reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, organised, and able to work well in a busy environment

• Comfortable with physical work and manual handling

• A strong team player with good communication skills

• Previous Goods In, warehouse, or stock-handling experience is an advantage but not essential

• Use of manual handling equipment and a forklift (FLT) licence is desirable but not essential
