A position has become available for a Cleaner at our busy and welcoming Percy Thrower's Garden Centre.

Position: Cleaner
Location: Percy Thrower’s Garden Centre
Hours: 10 hours per week (weekend work on a rota basis)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to help keep our garden centre clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff alike.

The Role

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the centre, ensuring all public and staff areas are tidy and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas, including floors, restrooms, and entrances

• Dust, wipe, and sanitise surfaces as required

• Empty bins and manage waste responsibly

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies

• Support the team with ad hoc tasks to keep the centre looking its best

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• Able to work independently and follow instructions

• Flexible to work weekends on a rota basis

• Positive attitude and team player

• Comfortable with light physical work
