The Role:

As Outdoor Leisure & Christmas Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of both the Outdoor Leisure and Christmas departments. You will ensure stock is well-presented, create inspiring seasonal and outdoor displays, and work with your team to maximise sales while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, offering autonomy, creativity, and opportunities for personal and team development.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising, motivating, and supporting a small team across Outdoor Leisure and Christmas departments

• Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and maintaining attractive, well-stocked displays

• Ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting shopping environment

• Providing expert advice to customers on outdoor furniture, BBQs, accessories, and seasonal products

• Assisting with seasonal promotions, events, and creative displays

• Following action points from reports and floor walks

• Ensuring POS material and signage is up-to-date and correctly displayed

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong knowledge of outdoor furniture, BBQs, outdoor living, and seasonal Christmas products

• Experience in retail, garden centre, or supervisory roles

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team

• Experience in stock management and ordering

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A proactive, hands-on attitude, with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• A creative flair for displays and merchandising
