Gardening General Assistant – Part Time

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Gardening General Assistant to join our team at Springfields Garden Centre.

Hours:10 hours per week, Thursday evening and weekend working required

The Role

This is a practical and physically active role supporting the gardening and outdoor areas of the centre. You will help ensure the department is well-presented, fully stocked, and ready to provide an excellent experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers with gardening products and general enquiries

• Replenishing stock and maintaining displays

• Supporting with deliveries and moving heavy items

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the gardening area

• Assisting customers with carrying and loading purchases

• Supporting colleagues across the centre as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an interest in gardening (knowledge desirable but not essential)

• Is reliable and able to work Thursday evenings and weekends

• Enjoys physical, hands-on work

• Has a positive attitude and good customer service skills

• Works well as part of a team
