Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Location: Nailsworth Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group

Hours: 32 hours per week, including weekends

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role:

We are looking for a motivated and approachable Restaurant Supervisor to support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. You’ll help ensure high standards are maintained while creating a welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and team supervision

• Leading by example to deliver excellent customer service at all times

• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety are upheld

• Supervising and supporting the team during busy service periods

• Working independently when required in a fast-paced environment

• Encouraging teamwork, flexibility, and a positive working culture

About You:

Extensive experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a keen interest in customer service, and the confidence to take responsibility.

Essential skills and qualities:

• Excellent attention to detail

• The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment

• A good awareness of health & safety and food hygiene standards

• A positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills

• A friendly, approachable manner with both customers and colleagues
