Position: Chef De Partie
Location: Nailsworth Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group
Hours: 25–40 hours per week, including alternate weekends
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. You’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality food while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Key responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in line with set recipes and quality standards

Assisting with daily kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations

Working closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service

Monitoring portion control and presentation to maintain consistent quality

Contributing to a positive, professional, and supportive kitchen environment
About You:
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable, though not essential. A genuine passion for food, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are key.
Essential skills and qualities:

Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques

An understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

The ability to work well under pressure as part of a team

Good organisation skills and attention to detail

Flexibility to work weekends on a rota basis
