Position: Fashion Department Supervisor

Location: Cardiff Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group.

Hours: Full-time 30 hours, including alternate weekends.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.

The Role

As our new Fashion Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring our customers have a truly memorable shopping experience.

• Lead with Style: Manage, motivate, and train a small, high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Visual Flair: Design and implement inspiring visual merchandising and store layouts that attract customers and highlight seasonal collections.
• Inventory & Operations: Oversee stock control, manage inventory levels, process deliveries, and ensure high standards of housekeeping and health and safety.
• Drive Sales: Monitor sales figures, analyse performance data, and help implement sales promotions to maximise profitability.
• Customer Champion: Serve as the main point of contact for customer queries and complaints, resolving issues efficiently and fostering a positive experience.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment, ideally fashion-focused.
• A creative and commercial individual with a keen eye for fashion trends and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• A self-motivated, energetic approach with a flexible attitude to duties and change.
• Proficiency in using an EPOS (electronic point of sale) system and managing stock.
