Location: Grosvenor Garden Centre, part of the Blue Diamond Group.

Hours: Part-time 30 hours, including alternate weekends. (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Barista to join us for a fixed-term contract of approximately 30 hours per week, covering a period of maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be a true people person, passionate about crafting high-quality beverages and committed to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffees, teas, and speciality drinks.
• Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately, and making recommendations.
• Operating coffee machines and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and surrounding areas, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assisting with other tasks, such as food preparation and restocking supplies, as needed.
• Handling payments and operating the till system accurately.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Barista, particularly with speciality coffee, is a strong advantage.
• A passion for coffee and for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Great work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and time management skills, especially during busy periods.
• The ability to work well within a collaborative and inclusive team.
